Our Mission

For the patient:

Before anything else, let’s talk about you, the patient. Your wants and your needs as a patient.  If you, the patient, were not here, our jobs would not be necessary.  Details matter to us here at King William Physical Therapy, and we thank you for choosing us as your healthcare provider.

Try to imagine yourself as a patient here.  What would you need? What would you want?  What would your expectations be as a patient of King William Physical Therapy be?  You would probably agree that you need to get well. You would want to get well as quickly, as painlessly, as safely and as pleasantly as possible.

You would feel that you had a right:

  • To receive the best all-around care and treatment possible.

  • To be treated with the same courtesy you would receive if you were a paying “Guest” anywhere else.

  • To expect politeness, a clean facility, fresh linens, a quiet surrounding and other courtesies.

  • To be looked upon as an individual not just as “the patient.”

  • To be treated with an extra measure of understanding, optimism, and cheerfulness.

Everything we do is on behalf of the patient, no matter how small that service might seem. To us, the details are important and worthwhile.  It’s the “little things” that count.

Sincerely,

The King William Physical Therapy Staff

Benefits of Massage

Experts estimate that upwards of 90% of disease is stress- related. And perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, then high stress. Massage is an effective tool for managing this stress, which translates into decreased anxiety, enhanced sleep quality, greater energy, improved concentration, increased circulation, and reduced fatigue.

Massage can also help specifically address several health issues. Bodywork can:

• Alleviate low- back pain and improve range of motion
• Enhance immunity by stimulating lymph flow- the body’s natural defense system
• Exercise and stretch weak, tight, or underused or neglected muscles
• Help athletes of any level prepare for, and recover from, strenuous workouts
• Increase joint flexibility
• Lessen depression and anxiety
• Reduce post- surgery adhesions and swelling
• Reduce spasms and cramping
• Relax and soften injured, tired and overused muscles
• Release endorphins- amino acids that work as the body’s natural painkiller
• Relieve migraine pain

Signature Massage combines the best of our services and integrates the best experience for your mind and body.

Myofascial Release Therapy is to promote mobility of healthy superficial fascia, which is the layer of connective tissue that lies between your skin muscles.

Prenatal Massage can reduce anxiety, decrease symptoms of depression, relieve muscle aches and joint pains and improve labor outcomes and newborn health.
